Process and Pricing
Contracts: Before beginning any work, we will secure a contract with you. The contract will outline the services you have requested and the fees that will apply.
Initial Consultation: $50.00 per hour
During the Initial Consultation we will discuss your goals and assist you in articulating your funding needs.
Match Making & Grant Research: $50.00 per hour
This includes a thorough search of online and library grant resources, with emphasis on the Foundation Center Online Directory. We will then provide you with profiles of the ten best funders, who are likely to be interested in funding you, as well as recommend the grant amounts.
General Grant Consultation: $50.00 per hour
ARA will guide you through the grant research and proposal writing process by helping you focus your project/program ideas, develop a plan, and act on it.
Letter of Intent/Inquiry: initial price of $75.00 and $25.00 for each additional letter
After identifying your potential funders, we will draft, revise and send a 2-3 page Letter of Inquiry on your organization's letterhead to your potential funders. If the funder is interested in your project, they will request a full proposal at the very beginning of the grant application process.
Full Grant Proposal with White Paper: $250.00 to $5,000
After identifying your potential funders, we will draft, revise and send a 2-3 page Letter of Inquiry on your organization's letterhead to your potential funders. If the funder is interested in your project, they will request a full proposal at the very beginning of of the grant application process. ARA will arrange, with you, a predetermined price for writing your proposal. We can communicate, distribute and exchange documents through email, regular mail and during meetings. The price of the full proposal will depend on its complexity. ARA will prepare all components of the proposal and request various attachments from you, such as a Board of Directors list, current budget and 501 (C) 3 status. ARA can also prepare a proposal on white paper which can be used to apply for funding in the future.
Independent Research: $25.00 per hour
ARA will conduct a thorough search on a specific topic. We will analyze the topic to determine how many hours it will take to collect the data and prepare it in a document, for your use. The estimates are provided free of charge. Once the amount of time is determined, ARA will provide you with a time-table and a total cost.
Other Services:
Grant Calendars: $50.00 a month
We will design a monthly grants update calendar to help you organize your grant program and keep you up to date on letter, application and proposal deadlines.
Proposal Review: $50.00 per hour
If you prepare your own proposal, ARA can review it to ensure that the proposal follows the grant guidelines. We will also provide suggestions for revision and editing.
